Also, if you are able, I'd love to have you join Versa-Style's last digital event of 2020. On Friday, December 4th from 7:30-8:30pm, Versa-Style will be hosting a special Family Night Friday Dance Class. Bring your children, families, and loved ones as we dance the night away with Versa-Style Co-Founder, Jackie “Miss Funk” Lopez and myself!
Then, on Saturday, December 5th at 3pm, you can join us on YouTube as Versa-Style premieres a special presentation of some of their most loyal dance community supporters sharing their artistry in a virtual CYPHER, and sharing their love of dance and Versa-Style’s work in the community. We can’t wait to showcase Boogie Frantick, Baby Tight Eyez, and Rascal Randi!!! Immediately following, please join Jackie and I as we present one of our favorite works, “They Don’t Hear Us,” from 2016’s production, Box of Hope. We will be providing insight into the piece’s creation, performance, and the significance it plays in our lives today.
I'm truly excited to conclude this year on a high note for my Versa-Style Company members and I. We've all adapted to the best of our abilities and still managed to keep the work going for our dance community and most importantly, the youth of Los Angeles!
